I'm sure it's obvious to anyone who is an NIS fan, but I based this girl's look off the female healer of the disgaea series.
The jewels in her body are actually condensed cells that hardened to jewel-like formation. Although, top jewel is actually her nucleus. Unlike other slimes people, she has her nucleus and the cell jewels to help focus her mental energy into a protective and rejuvenating force. She can even burn her own cells to protect others and empower the living.
